The online casino software provider Microgaming finds ways and means to stay ahead of the competition. It has just announced that it is now compliant with the EGBA standards for online casino and poker software and also with the eGAP requirements for software providers of casino, poker and bingo software. The Seals Compliance Committee of eCOGRA, which had assessed the compliance, has awarded Microgaming the renewed Certified Software Seal.
The Microgaming press release went on to state that the widely respected eGAP requirements provide a framework for safe, fair, efficient and responsible online gambling activity. The compliance with these regulations reassures players that suppliers and operators are acting responsibly. Roger Raatgever, CEO of Microgaming, said, “The eCOGRA certification is synonymous with the highest possible level of professional conduct in the online gaming industry.” He added that Microgaming was proud to receive the renewed certification because it reflected how seriously his company took player protection and responsible gaming issues. Microgaming is not merely satisfied in meeting all of the necessary requirements but excels in each of the areas assessed.
Microgaming has announced two new online casino games for April. One of them is a blackjack variant titled European Blackjack Redeal Gold. Probably for the first time a blackjack game allows players to redeal their own cards, the dealer cards or their last card. Players can redeal up to five times and small cost is attached to each redeal. The usual double down and split options are available. European Blackjack Redeal Gold is a two-deck game with the dealer having to stand on all 17. All Microgaming Gold Series games are visually excellent, but this blackjack variant scales new heights. It includes a new table perspective, expertly crafted graphics and high quality digital sound effects all of which will create an exclusive live casino experience for the players. European Blackjack Redeal Gold will be available on Microgaming’s Download, Flash and QuickFire Platforms.
The second new game will be a video slot titled Piggy Fortunes. It is based on the classic children’s story ‘Three Little Pigs’. The infamous Big Bad Wolf is welcome on the reels since he acts as a multiplier. The Microgaming write up explains, “When he appears adjacent to any of the three houses made of straw, wood or brick, the wild winds are set off, which can cause up to five free spins for the fortuitous players.” The three little pigs act as scatter symbols. They re-build one of the houses, triggering even more free spins in the process. Piggy Fortunes has cartoon-style graphics and matching sound effects and will be available on Microgaming’s Download, Flash and QuickFire platforms.
